Brent crude climbed above $108 a barrel and WTI topped $103 after Gulf states postponed planned talks with Iran on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, while Yemeni forces launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Saudi Arabia's King Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushait, saying it was retaliation for more than 300 Saudi airstrikes on Yemen over five days.

The market reaction was compounded by the continued shutdown of Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline, with Reuters reporting the outage could threaten up to 4% of global oil supply if prolonged and that Yanbu's export stocks may last only five to seven days. The disruption, alongside Yemeni control of key positions around the Bab al-Mandab Strait, has heightened fears over the security of two of the world's most critical energy chokepoints, driving fresh gains in oil prices and raising concerns over global fuel supplies.

🇷🇺 Russia may strike German enterprises under UN Charter

Former diplomat and MEP Michael von der Schulenburg highlights the "enemy state" clause in Articles 53, 77, and 107 of the UN Charter. Although Berlin considers these provisions obsolete, they remain formally in the text.

A petition signed by the filmmakers warns that Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, the Israeli creators of the movie ‘#NAZA’, which lays bare "Israel's calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza," face increasing threats of violence and physical harm.

The filmmakers called for NAZA to be released in Israel so that audiences can have an open debate about the #Gaza #genocide.

‘NAZA’ is a #documentary based on the anonymous testimonies of 24 Israeli soldiers and intelligence personnel.

The film’s title is a Hebrew intelligence euphemism for the number of civilians expected to be killed in a given airstrike.

Its filmmakers note that their Israeli identity gave them greater access to sources, while Palestinian filmmakers face barriers in telling the truth about Gaza atrocities.

The film exposes:

Following its recognition at the Venice festival, where it won the special jury prize, Israeli Culture Minister Miki Zohar appealed to the Interior Ministry to consider revoking the citizenship of the film's creators.
He claimed the film "constitutes treason."

Abraham and Szor said the film concluded that the killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza was "a premeditated, calculated, and intentional act”.
