New Michael Moore-Backed Documentary On YouTube Reveals Massive Ecological Impacts Of Renewables

Over the last 10 years, everyone from celebrity influencers including Elon Musk, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Al Gore, to major technology brands including Apple, have repeatedly claimed that renewables like solar panels and wind farms are less polluting than fossil fuels.

But a new documentary, “Planet of the Humans,” being released free to the public on YouTube today, the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, reveals that industrial wind farms, solar farms, biomass, and biofuels are wrecking natural environments.

Germany: Gas and diesel could soon be rationed

German authorities are preparing the economy for possible energy rationing. “Numerous companies have contacted us because they have received letters from their gas suppliers telling them that their energy supplies may be rationed or shut down in the future. The measures are being taken against the background of the Ukraine war.

A scenario that was considered unthinkable just a few weeks ago could become reality: that German companies can no longer produce because the authorities are turning off the gas tap.

In addition to gas, diesel is also likely to become scarce soon, and there is a risk of rationing here too. [IAF: consider the impact not just on trucking/supply chain, but on farm equipment/food production].

United States weighs largest ever draw from emergency oil reserve -sources | Reuters – https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/biden-will-give-remarks-thursday-efforts-lower-gas-prices-white-house-2022-03-31/

The latest amount of U.S. #oil release being considered, which is equivalent to about two days of global demand, would mark the third time the United States has tapped its strategic reserves in the past six months, and would be the largest release in the near 50-year history of the #SPR.

The White House said Biden will deliver remarks at 1:30 p.m. ET (1730 GMT) on "his administration's actions to reduce the impact of Putin's price hike on #energy prices and lower #gas prices at the pump for American families.

Given that the United States is taking a "muscular stance toward Moscow, promising more #sanctions, we believe the SPR release is being used as a tool to blunt the impact of these foreign policy decisions for US consumers," RBC Capital said in a note to clients
Turkey targets Balkans and EU renewables markets

Turkey looks eager to monetize its renewable energy potential and attract investments. But the policy framework to get there remains crucial.

Due to its weather conditions and vast territory, Turkey looks set to become a renewables powerhouse sooner or later. Its proximity to energy-hungry Europe is an additional strategic advantage when it comes to monetizing this potential.

Florida family drives into electric car problem: a replacement battery costs more than vehicle itself

Avery Siwinski is a 17-year-old whose parents spent $11,000 on a used Ford Focus Electric car, which is a 2014 model and had about 60,000 miles when it was bought, according to KVUE.

She told the news outlet that the car stopped running after taking it to a repair shop, and the family eventually found out that the car's battery would need to be replaced.
The problem? A battery for the electric car costs $14,000, according to the news outlet.

However, the family found out that there weren't any batteries of that type available anymore because the Ford model is discontinued.
"Then we found out the batteries aren't even available," Siwinski said. "So it didn't matter. They could cost twice as much and we still couldn't get it."
