The #UK military has flown 50 #surveillance missions over Gaza since December, it can be revealed.
The flights have taken off from Britain’s controversial air base on Cyprus, #RAF #Akrotiri, and averaged around one a day since the beginning of December.
When asked the UK government refused to provide the number of spy flights, but Declassified has analysed flight tracking records.
The #British plane used is the Shadow R1, which is known as an intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (#ISTAR) aircraft.

🇵🇸 UK has sent 74 war planes from Cyprus to Lebanon since March | Declassified UK
Britain has sent over 80 military transport planes to Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, since the bombing of Gaza began, Declassified can reveal.
All the flights have gone from RAF Akrotiri, Britain’s sprawling air base on Cyprus which has long been a staging post for bombing missions in the Middle East. It sits 150 miles, or 45 minutes flight time, from Beirut.
There has been a steady stream of flights since the Israeli assault on Gaza began in October, but the number rose dramatically in April with 25 flights going from Akrotiri to #Beirut.
May saw the same number of flights, with another 14 so far this month.

"The chief of the defence staff – #Britain’s most senior military officer – refused to answer questions yesterday about Royal Air Force (#RAF) surveillance flights over Gaza and intelligence sharing with Israel.
Admiral Sir Tony Radakin declined to comment on whether the operations made him a participant in Israel’s campaign in Gaza, which is the subject of a genocide investigation by the UN’s top court."

Another interesting video of the landing of Russian troops in #Gostomel, this time from the viewpoint of an unknown machine gunner. It's clearly visible that after the first wave of attacks, the reinforcement group calmly lands on the runway and starts working.
