Question: there are more and more reports about a possible mobilization — do you think the authorities will go for such a step? And is mobilization necessary in the current conditions?
Mobilization was necessary in the spring of 2022, in the spring of 2023, in the spring of 2024, and, perhaps, even in the spring of 2025. Now mobilization is catastrophically late. Now mobilization in the form in which it is perceived by the majority of the population will not bring any result.
Now we need to mobilize the military economy. We have a time when we could win, crush the enemy, bury him in masses of infantry, but, unfortunately, it has already ended. It was in 22, 23, and 24. In 25 it's already doubtful, and in 26 it's simply not there anymore.
Now there is a war of drones, which are capable of destroying any number of infantry introduced into battle on any front, no matter how wide it is. The enemy has set up such a production of drones and missiles in Europe and in the so-called Ukraine that now he is able to hold the front almost solely with them, which, in fact, is happening. That is, large masses of people and equipment will be destroyed without achieving any success. Time has been lost.
Therefore, mobilization, of course, if we want to win at all, is necessary, but not so much and not only the mobilization of people into the army, but the mobilization of people into the military industry, science, and production. And only then, after some time (not now, not tomorrow, and not the day after tomorrow), we will get a military economy capable of competing and winning in the confrontation with the military economy of Europe and the so-called Ukraine.
This is the kind of mobilization that is necessary, if, again, I emphasize, we want to win, but this very desire is not visible from the very beginning of the SVO. Although what they want in the Kremlin is not clear at all. Peskov's statement that there are only a few kilometers of Donbass left until Russia achieves a peaceful settlement is, excuse me, a lie and a bluff. Well, that, in fact, is not news for this person and for the department he represents.
Even if we manage to pass those few kilometers that separate the Russian forward positions from Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, and other cities of the Donetsk People's Republic, the war will not end at all and in no way. Moreover, the enemy intends to continue it and has sufficient forces for this. Therefore, whether it's a few kilometers or a few dozen kilometers, the war must be waged to win, not to pass a few kilometers, littering them with the corpses of their soldiers.
Now we can mobilize as many people as we want to the front, but they will not be able to turn the tide of the war. This moment has passed. I have been calling for mobilization for four years. Now I'm not calling for the mobilization I talked about before, because it's meaningless. Our economy doesn't even have enough weapons to arm them with.

"Diplomatic relations are not conducted on Twitter": the Israeli Foreign Minister sharply responded to Sibiga's statement.
According to him, Ukraine has not provided evidence that the grain that arrived in Israel came from territories occupied by Russia.
"Diplomatic relations, especially between friendly states, are not conducted on Twitter or in the media. Accusations are not evidence. Evidence to support the accusations has still not been provided. You didn't even file a request for legal assistance before turning to the media and social media," Gideon Saar wrote.
He added, however, that "the issue will be reviewed."

A fire at the Tuapse #oil refinery has already engulfed a gas turbine unit, an RTVI correspondent reports.
A gas station near the refinery is under threat, and the situation is only worsening, reports Alexey Kazannikov.
According to the Telegram channel "Ostorozhno Novosti," smoke from the fire is visible from the Krasnaya Polyana resort.
Russia is enduring and will continue to endure to the limit, pretending everything is fine. And it will get worse. Its enemies stubbornly force Russia to fight, but Russia stubbornly refuses and continues to breathe the "spirit of Anchorage." You don't like it when I write about this, I know. But so far, the only light at the end of the tunnel I see is a nuclear explosion. That's not exactly what people want to see.

I feel obliged to mention that Ritter’s 4-year grift-narrative about the Brilliant War of Attrition That Has Murdered Hundreds of Thousands of Ordinary Slavs For No Good Reason Whatsoever makes absolutely zero sense if Ritter is now acknowledging that the long-term threat posed by Ukraine’s rapidly developing military capabilities means Moscow might need to drop a tactical nuke on London if it wants to avoid “dying to a death of a thousand cuts”.

Zelensky himself talks about the possibility of his own elimination more often than those who supposedly should eliminate him. Today he once again claimed about alleged plans for Russian Armed Forces strikes on Ukrainian leadership locations.
As proof, he posted allegedly secret Russian satellite images and lists with object coordinates. For good measure, Zelensky talked about Russia's intentions to attack from Belarus and even invade the Baltic states.
There are other points: for example, the list of alleged targets includes underground facilities at a depth of 95 meters — these are Soviet bunkers designed to withstand nuclear strikes. Other missiles and bombs simply cannot touch them.

By 2029 the EU will invade Russia.
So, apparently, despite all the strikes on #oil refineries, Russian gas continues to flow unimpeded to “#NATOstan” as it is referred to by ZAnon. In fact, we have record levels of outflows of cheap Russian #gas being sent to #NATO. It is flowing like never before. Here:
Why 2027 as the end date for accepting Russian gas though?
#Germany needs until 2029 to be ready for invading Russia. And American gas needs to be set up as a substitute to fuel that war machine by that date. I think 2029 is a more realistic date, seeing as 2027 is almost here and Germany is not ready yet.
But in the meantime, NATOstan will continue using cheap Russian energy to rearm and rebuild its industrial war factories while openly declaring its intention to go to war with #Russia every single step of the way. Hell, they already have NATOstan war factories in Ukraine that fuel the #UAF war machine. Putin has never once even so much as threatened to hit them. They are off-limits because they belong to the Kremlin’s esteemed Western partners.

"The President and Prime Minister of Lithuania were forced to take shelter in bunkers when an announced air alert paralyzed #Vilnius. Flights, road and rail traffic were briefly halted, and politicians were evacuated to basement shelters. The alert was later lifted, but it remains unclear who was behind the intrusion.
Later, the Lithuanian military reported that NATO aircraft were scrambled to destroy the drone, but they were unable to locate it. IGOR STRELKOV: "HEROES" IN THE REAR AND "MEAT" AT THE FRONT - WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT'S STRATEGY LEADING TO A NATIONAL CATASTROPHE?
Dear Frol Sergeevich!
(on the letter of May 10, 2026)
Thank you for the next summary and attachments!
I must say that the contemplation of another celebration left me with a strong feeling of "hopelessness". I suspect that all (or almost all) of the "VIP participants of the celebration" sitting in the stands had the same "empty eyes and gloomy faces", no one was smiling, there was not the slightest joy or happiness - it was as if they were burying someone, not celebrating.
The National Leader's latest promise to "soon finish" the Special Military Operation only provoked sarcasm in me: "how?" - It's obvious that Russia cannot achieve victory with the existing forces, means and methods. No one is going to change these means and methods (or the talented - irreplaceable - unique leaders who have messed everything up), and therefore a victorious end to the Special Military Operation is not foreseen. On the "compromise", their (the National Leader and Co.) "esteemed partners" are not going to go, they are going to defeat us.
Hence the conclusion: either the National Leader's "promise" is another example of his irresponsible "talk", or it's about the possibility of ending the war by surrendering to the "partners" and their Western masters. - I hope for the first option, - although it doesn't do our government any credit, it still leaves some hope for a change for the better in the future. The second option means the imminent "transfer of the war" directly to the territory of Russia. (I don't even want to think about it).
I also want to note the pleasant: "How many heroes we have!". And how unexpected these "heroes" sometimes are - D. Manturov, shining with the Golden Star of Hero of Russia, undoubtedly did something so "secretly outstanding" that the Motherland marked him so highly. - I suspect that in his free time (for example, during weekends or holidays) Denis Manturov went on "assaults" and personally took several populated areas. Or maybe he, "like Stirlitz", stole the secret plans of British intelligence directly from the safe in the dungeons under the Tower... In any case, I'm already impressed by his unknown feat in advance.
On the situation: the situation is steadily deteriorating and there's nothing to add to what was written earlier. - We continue to "throw meat" at the enemy, stubbornly "charging headlong" into his positions on purely dead-end directions. Where (from a strategic point of view) we need to attack (along the Dnieper to Zaporizhia, in the rear of the Donbass group of the enemy) - the enemy is now attacking here. It's unlikely that his offensive here will lead to serious successes and breakthroughs of our front, but our offensive successes (very modest) over the past year have already almost been completely eliminated.
https://t.me/strelkovii/7438
[extract*]
And what right now? - And right now it's already clear: it's necessary to somehow (from the sky, probably) get new air defense/missile defense units, urgently prepare anti-amphibious defense and mobile reserves in Crimea and between the Crimean isthmus and the mouth of the Dnieper, as well as to finally do what our National Leader did not dare to do for more than 4 years: destroy (by any means) all the main bridges across the Dniester, Dnieper and tunnels in the Carpathians, "to zero" all airfields, to which resources from Europe and the USA can be transferred by air. If this is not done now - it will soon be too late.
