Over the past week, an increase in US and Israeli reconnaissance aircraft has been noted over Lebanese territory. While Washington-based think tanks, the Western corporate media, in addition to Israeli and #US politicians, claim that Hezbollah was defeated late last year, all indications point to the opposite.

Israel’s pager attacks, followed by the assassination of #Hezbollah’s senior leadership back in September, dealt a major blow to the Lebanese group. In addition to this, security sources familiar with the matter informed the Palestine Chronicle that between 15-20 percent of the movement’s weapons were destroyed during the war that ensued.

What happened to Hezbollah late last year would have been thought to be impossible just months prior to it all unfolding. The organization’s middle command took major hits, it was clearly infiltrated in a major way by #Mossad collaborators and agents.

Silent speech technology

Q ai's technology reads micro-movements of facial skin, detecting whispered speech, emotions, pulse, and respiration — without a single word spoken. The company has filed a patent for a system that identifies words through lip movements and skin micro-vibrations, working even in complete silence.

Apple plans to integrate this into headphones and glasses for hands-free Siri control — but the same algorithms allow militaries to interrogate more effectively. It is a classic dual-use tool.

Ignored condemnation

Human rights group Skyline International condemned Apple's purchase, calling it "rewarding technology born of the Gaza genocide." The group urged BlackRock and Vanguard to freeze the deal pending an independent audit, but the call was ignored.

Beyond the deal

Apple made headlines last week when Apple Maps stopped displaying village names in southern Lebanon — the same region Israel is currently invading as part of the broader conflict against Iran.

The US provides Israel with $3.8 billion in annual military aid — over $300 billion total since 1946, indirectly supporting its tech sector. Until recently, Apple's offices sat next to NSO Group, the creators of Pegasus spyware, though NSO moved to another part of Tel Aviv in 2024

The emails examined by Drop Site News begin in 2014, but Lichner’s involvement in the political management of Israel’s wars in #Gaza reaches back much further.

According to PassBlue, Lichner served in the #IOF  from 2000 to 2006. It was a six-year stretch at a time when ordinary compulsory service for Israeli men lasted three years. No public record identifies his rank or unit, but that length of service suggests the military was a formative professional chapter in his life, rather than an obligation completed before moving into civilian work.
