Fereshteh Ahmadi, 32, mother of two little children

She was shot by the officers on October 27, 2022, while she was standing on her house roof in Mahabad.

Fereshteh`s husband: “They opened fire even when I tried to take her out of the house [after she was shot]”.

There have been massive reactions on social media when a picture became viral showing Fereshteh`s little daughter holding a handful of her grave soil.

Sitting on her mother`s grave, the little girl was shouting “Mom, where are you, mom?” Traumatised by the loss of her mother, she sleeps every night next to her mother`s funeral announcement.

Islamic Republic regime has claimed that the bullet that killed Fereshteh Ahmadi was shot from inside her house.

"No one has martyred Fereshteh other than the Islamic Republic... I count the Islamic Republic regime as my enemy", says Rahim Goli, Fereshteh`s husband.

پرفورمنس جمعی از اعضای خانواده تئاتر و سینما در حمایت از سهیلا گلستانی و حمید پورآذری

علی دلگشایی، حنا همتی، محمود کاملی، شیما حسینی و پیمان فقیه با در دست داشتن تابلوهایی که اشاره به وقایع مهم سال‌های اخیر دارند، راه حمید پورآذری و سهیلا گلستانی را در حمایت از خیزش مردم آزادی‌خواه ایران را ادامه می‌دهند. زنان این جمع همچون سهیلا گلستانی بدون حجاب اجباری مقابل دوربین ایستادند.

یک هفته پیش سهیلا گلستانی و حمید پورآذری، در پی اجرای یک پرفورمنس بازداشت شدند. در ویدیویی که از پرفورمنس آن‌ها منتشر شده بود، سهیلا گلستانی و سایر زنان حاضر بدون حجاب اجباری و با همراهی چند تن از مردان هنرمند یکی پس از دیگری، برابر دوربین ظاهر شدند و در سکوت به دوربین خیره شدند.

خانم گلستانی این ویدیو را اولین بار در صفحه اینستاگرام خودش منتشر کرد و زیر آن نوشت:
 «نمایش تمام می‌شود و حقیقت عریان می‌گردد. قهرمانان حقیقی ما، مردم بی‌نامند.
اشتباهاتمان را خط نمی‌زنیم. دوباره مشق می‌کنیم و می‌آموزیم ... راه بی‌شمار است و امید به روز نو، بسیار.»

این اقدام بازتاب زیادی یافت و چند گروه هنری داخلی و خارجی از آن حمایت کردند.

فقط در ایران است که چنین پرفورمنسی منجر به بازداشت هنرمند می‌شود!

Yalda, 19, was an artist.

She was arrested in Enghalab Square, Tehran on 26 October.

She committed suicide only two days after she was released from detention and died in the hospital.

Based on reports, She was on a hunger strike, protesting to her detention circumstances.

Her body was buried in the Tehran cemetery under officials’ surveillance and pressure.

Security forces even invaded her mourning service shooting and deploying tear gas.

She had revealed in a voice message to her friend that she`d been savagely beaten up in detention.

Laughing though, she had mentioned she never cried or expressed remorse.

Erfan, 23, was from Lahijan.

He was shot dead on 3 November by security agents. According to the witnesses, the security agents left his wounded body unattended until he lost his life.

They took his body hostage, not allowing it to be sent to the hospital. His family was threatened not to announce his funeral.

Despite that, many people gathered for his burial ceremony on 7 November.

People had put flowers on the spot he was killed the day before the funeral. His image with Ali Karimi, the Iranian football star, received massive attention on social media

Erfan was studying architecture at university. He was a prize-winner athlete in bodybuilding.

He was fatally shot in the head on 29 September in Lavasan, near Tehran.

He was buried in Lavasan under strict government surveillance.

Architecture students at Azad university wrote his name and drew signs on walls in memory of Erfan.

Eran’s mother brought his medals to the funeral and put them on her son`s grave.

“Fight for your dreams,” his close friends remember him saying often.

10-year-old Kian was an enthusiastic and bright kid.

He was fascinated with robots. He had made a robotic boat to be presented in an exhibition.

He and his family were fatally shot by the Islamic regime forces on their way back home in Izeh on 16 November.

The armed forces held their car under machineguns fire. Kian`s father was also severely injured and is in the hospital.

Concerned about officials possibly stealing Kian`s body, his mother kept it in their house, instead of sending it to the morgue.

She got ice cubes from her neighbours to keep her son`s body cool.

Many citizens participated in the Kian funeral service in Izeh on 18 November.

Kian`s mother narrated that incident of crime against humanity to people at the funeral.

She was later forced to take what she had said back.

She was threatened that her husband would be denied medical care if she refused to take her back.

Ghazaleh Chelavi, was 32 years old from Amol, graduated in Bank Management. Ghazaleh loved hiking, traveling, and reading novels.

She was a competent climbing athlete and had climbed many of Iran`s high mountains including Damavand and Alamkuh, as well as many others close to her home city.

She was shot in the head while recording a video of protests. The camera in her hands recorded her last moments after she was shot and fell on the ground.

She was in a coma for 5 days after being shot before she lost her life. She had wished to be an organ donor, but officials did not let this happen. “They did not want her to be remembered as a legend,” Ghazaleh`s aunt explains.

The officials refused to give Ghazaleh`s body to her family and threatened not to speak out. In her `Chehelom` (mourning gathering)on 6 November, people gathered, danced, and burnt headscarves. “It could be seen in her eyes that she wanted to show her courage and spread it,” her aunt said.

Medical team is detained in Mahabad, Iran, for helping protesters.
General practitioner Yaser Ranhamnirad, psychiatrist Behnam Ohadi, and operation theatre technician Homayun Eftekhariannia, who had gone to Mahabad to help the protesters, have been arrested and held in an unknown place.
The crew had gone to Mahabad on 30 November and were arrested on 4 December by the regime`s Intelligence Office agents.

She was from Malekan and living in Tabriz, studying medical science.

She lost her life when a security agent fired a shotgun aimed at the back of her head.

The Islamic regime declared that she died due to “falling from the roof”.

Aylar`s uncle denied the regime`s narrative, asserting she was shot from behind.

Aylar`s body was buried in Tabriz, surrounded by a people gathering on 18 November.

The regime forces attacked the funeral, shooting and deploying tear gas. Several attendees were arrested.

Three days later a protest march was held at Tabriz Medical Science University.

Her hometown, Malekan, went on a general strike despite the government's harsh surveillance following the incident.

Hadees , 23, was full of life.

She was fatally shot six times in the face, neck, and chest on 21 September in Karaj.

She was buried in Karaj on 23 October under heavy surveillance and pressure by the security forces.

Officials made her family tell she died due to "natural causes".

Her mother, however, said “my daughter was killed because she was protesting the murder of Mahsa Amini and the compulsory hijab… we are not with the regime. We don’t remain silent. We are mourning”.

Despite the regime agents obstructing the way to her resting place, the public gathering for Hadees`s Chehlom around her resting place was immense.

The regime agents attacked the attendees, arrested several, and killed some including Mehran Shekari and Mahdi Hazrati.

Hanana, 23, was supposed to have her wedding ceremony on 29 September.She had just started a career in hairdressing.

She was fatally shot by security agents in Noshahar when she was on her way back home from a dental clinic on 22 September. Her body was kept in the morgue and not given to her family for several days.

Hosseinali Kiakajouri, a relative of Hanan was also shot dead on the same day. Days later, their family finally were allowed to have the bodies. Hanana and Hosseinali were buried in Aljavad cemetery between Noshahr and Chaloos.

Many people gathered for her 'Chehlom' (mourning gathering), but security forces attacked the ceremony with tear gas.

Mohammad Hossein was 18 and from Khalkhal and living in Ghrchak, Varamin.

He recently graduated from high school and was working in a sock knitting workshop.

He was fatally shot in the heart and shoulder by the agents shooting people with rifles on 21 September.

It took three days for Mohammad’s family to take his body from authorities.

His family was under intense pressure not to speak out about that horrifying crime.

“Collision with hard or sharp objects” has been recorded as the cause of death in Mohammad’s death certificate.

His funeral was held under strict surveillance by security forces.

A video of Mohammad singing one of Omar Khayyam’s quatrains has been shared with the public.

“A love like me was this jug, in snare, of beauty’s tousled tresses long and fair; The handle ’round its neck you see, was once, the hand that fondly twined her lovely hair.”

Kamra Shahbazi

Kamran was 35 years old. He loved sports activities and Zumba dance. He was injured by the agents’ baton strikes when he was going to his home in Tehransar in mid-September. Kamran lost his life on 2 October 2022, due to severe head, heart, and kidney traumata. The authorities released his body and gave it to his family after they accepted their order to declare his death a ‘heart attack’. Kamran was buried in Karaj the next day. His family has been under pressure to remain silent about his death. Kamran’s mother, however, chanted ‘Woman, Life, freedom’ in his Chehlom (mourning ceremony) on 11 November.
