Over 800,000 olive trees on Palestinian farms have been uprooted by the Israeli authorities and settlers since 1967.

MIT Science For Genocide : MIT Coalition for Palestine

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) contributes to the Gaza Genocide and #Zionist #settler #colonialism in Palestine in at least two distinct ways. First, MIT laboratories on campus conduct weapons and surveillance research directly sponsored by the Israeli military. Since at least 2015, MIT laboratories have received millions of dollars from the Israeli Ministry of Defense for projects to develop algorithms that help drone swarms to better pursue escaping targets; to improve underwater surveillance technology; and support military aircraft evade missiles. Two of these sponsorships were renewed since October 7th, 2023, while one came up for renewal in December 2024. Second, #MIT maintains institutional collaborations through the ILP, LGO, CSAIL, and MIT Energy Initiative programs with companies that sell vast amounts of weapons to Israel. These include #Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest military contractor, as well as #Maersk, #LockheedMartin, and #Caterpillar. These collaborations grant #genocide profiteers privileged access to MIT talent and expertise."

🇵🇸Home Demolitions: How Israel Is Redrawing the Map of the West Bank

Thaer Shouli never imagined that reaching his home would one day become a dangerous journey, or that the life he had built would survive only in memory.

Until two years ago, Thaer lived in Khirbet Tana, east of Nablus, alongside around 40 other families. Then illegal Israeli #settlers, backed by the #occupation army, launched a relentless campaign to drive them from their land.

Homes were demolished nearly 13 times. Families rebuilt them, only to watch them destroyed again. Even the centuries-old caves that had sheltered generations of Palestinians were eventually bulldozed.

For Palestinians, these #demolitions are not simply acts of #CollectivePunishment or intimidation. They are part of a broader strategy to reshape the geography of the occupied #WestBank by emptying strategically located Palestinian communities and making way for the expansion of illegal Jewish settlements.
