It is day three of a four-day truce between Hamas and Israel.
The brief lull in Israeli attacks has given Palestinians time to take stock of the utter devastation of their homes and neighbourhoods. However, for many, only rubble waited where their homes once stood.
After a delay of several hours, the exchange of a second group of Israeli captives held in Gaza for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails has taken place.

🇵🇸 More than 400 Palestinian civilians have been killed and 562 others injured in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip as Israel continues attacking the enclave since the early hours of Tuesday. Israel has resumed its genocidal war in Gaza after nearly two months of a fragile ceasefire.

The Government Media Office in Gaza says several key government leaders in Gaza were killed in the recent Israeli airstrikes, including Essam Al-Da'alis, the Head of the Government Follow-Up Committee.

Naji Abu Seif, better known by his kunya, Abu Hamza, the spokesman for the #AlQudsBrigades, the military arm of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was killed in the recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, according to press sources.

#Russia says it cannot accept #US proposals to end the war in #Ukraine in their current form because they do not address the problems that caused the conflict.

All Russian troop groups in the #SMO zone strictly observed the #ceasefire regime from 18:00 on April 19 and remained at previously occupied lines and positions, the Defense Ministry reported.

At night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to attack Russian positions in the areas of the settlements of Sukhaya Balka and Bogatyr in the #DPR, they were repelled.

During the night, the enemy used 48 aircraft-type UAVs, including one on the territory of #Crimea. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 444 times from guns and mortars at the positions of our troops, carried out 900 strikes by quadcopter-type #UAVs, including 12 shellings, 33 UAV strikes and seven ammunition drops on the border areas of the Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions.

As a result, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, as well as damage to civilian objects.

A video has appeared on Ukranian channels showing Ukrainian terrorists firing towards the positions of the Russian Armed Forces while shouting "Christ is risen ."

- Maria Zakharova responded to the US State Department’s proposal to extend the ceasefire.

- "The US State Department expressed hope for an extension of the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine after Easter. But the Kiev regime did not observe it during Easter either. Moreover, American HIMARS weapons were used by Bankovaya to violate the ceasefire," she wrote.

- She emphasized that this is not an accident, but a pattern, because "during the moratorium on attacks on the fuel and energy complex, Zelensky, who agreed to it, specifically targeted civilian energy infrastructure."
