Israel’s ethnic cleansing campaign in the #WestBank is being accepted by the international community because it has already allowed genocide in #Gaza and the forced displacement of Palestinians since 1948.

🇵🇸 Israel to take full control of land registry in West Bank's Area C, cementing annexation | MEE

Israel’s cabinet has for the first time voted to take sole responsibility for land registration in #AreaC of the occupied West Bank, a decision that has been described as effective Israeli annexation of the majority of Palestinian land.

Under the 1995 #OsloAgreement, the West Bank was divided into three areas, with the Palestinian Authority (#PA) exerting limited control of areas A and B, while Israel took full control of Area C. The latter area forms 60 percent of total land in the territory.

On Sunday, the Israeli cabinet agreed that in Area C, Israel would now make all decisions about land, and any Palestinian efforts to recognise land using its own land registry would be legally void.

While the Commission paid special attention to the situation in Gaza, the report focuses on attacks in the Occupied Palestinian Territory as a whole, and in Israel.

Last week, on an ordinary road in the heart of the village of Tammoun in the northern #WestBank, a vehicle carrying Samer Samara and his children was intercepted by members of the Palestinian Authority’s (#PA) Preventive Security Forces.

The unit was masked and heavily armed, moving with the precision of a planned operation. According to the family, they encircled the car and opened fire, unloading rounds through glass and metal with a density that transformed the vehicle into a cage of shrapnel. The windshield splintered inward as bullets tore through seats and bodies. Two children were struck — one killed, the other left in critical condition and on life support. Their father was shot in both legs, immobilized before being dragged from the blood-soaked interior and taken into PA jails and #torture chambers.

🇵🇸Home Demolitions: How Israel Is Redrawing the Map of the West Bank

Thaer Shouli never imagined that reaching his home would one day become a dangerous journey, or that the life he had built would survive only in memory.

Until two years ago, Thaer lived in Khirbet Tana, east of Nablus, alongside around 40 other families. Then illegal Israeli #settlers, backed by the #occupation army, launched a relentless campaign to drive them from their land.

Homes were demolished nearly 13 times. Families rebuilt them, only to watch them destroyed again. Even the centuries-old caves that had sheltered generations of Palestinians were eventually bulldozed.

For Palestinians, these #demolitions are not simply acts of #CollectivePunishment or intimidation. They are part of a broader strategy to reshape the geography of the occupied #WestBank by emptying strategically located Palestinian communities and making way for the expansion of illegal Jewish settlements.
